 Nashville, Tennessee One of the things that I most enjoy about traveling is finding the good places to eat. You know the type, the hole-in-the-wall or greasy-spoon that serves the great burgers. I've added two restaurant reviews, blog style: the Stephen Foster Restaurant and Hog Heaven. The above picture is the Don Kelly Band playing at Roberts Western World, home of great *traditional* country music. I'd say it's country-western, with an emphasis on the 'western' part. It's heavy on Marty Robbins and other singers from that era. Before this trip, I'd have looked you in the eye and said that I despise that type of music. Now, ole Marty is playing in the household. I believe it's a lot like broccoli, you hate it when you're young but something changes. Roberts is a great place to visit, worthy of making the trip to Nashville just to spend a few evenings sitting there. Comment (4) | Permalink |
