Gassing up at the Travel Plaza

Grayson, Kentucky

My area is home to a big gasoline refinery, but paradoxically- fuel is cheaper as you drive further away from it. Whenever we drive the 100 miles to central Kentucky, it's aways a good bet to gas up before coming back home. You'll save about 20 cents a gallon, sometimes more. I'm not a price-watcher, so often procrastinate but a stop in Grayson on the way home is always a safe bet. It's just far enough away from the refinery to save you some money.

Nobody tries to explain it.
