![]() Pendleton Art Center Ashland, Kentucky My wife is a potter at the Pendleton where she specializes in hand building small clay trees. They stand about a foot tall and each has a roof that lifts off for placement of a candle. She made these miniature snowmen as part of a winter display. The snowmen are just a couple of inches tall and were placed on the base of a tree. (Shot with the Fuji F10 in macro mode. I would have been happier with the picture if I had followed the Rule of Thirds-a rule that I often break on purpose. I think the composition would have been much better if I had angled up the steps and had the snowman fill the left part of the frame. Otherwise, I think the picture captures his personality quite well and my wife was pleased with it.) Comment (8) | Permalink |
