 Love Hardware Huntington, West Virginia This is another one from last year, I believe. The C.M. Love Hardware Company has been in town for a long time. The plans had been to tear off the 1970s facade and then restore the brickwork in anticipation of putting loft apartments or condominiums on the upper level. I wanted to capture a photo that shows both the old original sign and brickwork as well as the 1970s look. I've not heard any news about the condo project lately, though. In the meantime, the downtown is again booming on weekends and I'm always surprised about how many times the parking garage is closed due to being filled to capacity. Comment (3) | Permalink |
