 My thanks and apologies both go to David for allowing me to use this photograph to try out grunge processing. I had been talking with Mike Adkins about this technique, specifically how it's being applied in portraiture of young folks and music groups. Being only my 2nd try at it, the result is much stronger than what I think you'd want to use in normal grunge portraiture. I told Dave that with this photo, he could portray a soldier crawling out of a foxhole in the 1960s TV show 'Combat' or maybe an underground coal miner after a long night of work.
