![]() Here's one of the 'more odd' scenes captured also while window-shopping on a quiet evening. It's obviously an art exhibit, though there wasn't a clear sign identifying the establishment as a gallery and there was no card to explain this particular piece. I think it's a particularly good example of how art can speak from the heart of the artist, whether you like the message or not. I'll not comment on whether I agree or not with that message, but I particularly like the photography effect of shooting it through glass and having the reflection from the adjoining buildings- I think that adds something to it. I'll most likely only leave this up a few days as it's not particularly changed otherwise from the work of someone else (plus, some may find it offensive). (as a side note: I'm reminded of a photography-friend named Lloyd Moore who had an exhibit of his work. For the newspaper article, they sent a staff photographer who took a close up photograph copy of Lloyd's best photograph. In the paper, underneath the copy, the caption gave the byline for the photograph to the news photographer.) Comment (2) | Permalink |
