![]() Ro-Na Theater Ironton, Ohio (This is photo #2 for the day). The morning paper had an interesting article about the effort to raise funds for the restoration of the old Ro-Na Theater. According to the paper, the theater was donated to the city with the hopes of restoring it to be a community arts center. Last month, I had picked up a Vivitar Ultra Wide & Slim film camera to experiment with and the first roll of film came back today with a couple of photos of the Ro-Na. The Vivitar was originally a $5.00 camera from Walmart (I believe) but it's widely sought by film and toy-camera users. I might have violated some unwritten code of using film, but I went ahead and adjusted some of the perspective in Photoshop and I thought the film-look portrayed the old theater pretty well. A big community yard sale will be held in downtown Ironton on Saturday morning to benefit the Ro-Na. For more info, refer to the article. Here's the article about the Ro-Na. Here's my earlier photo of the Ro-Na. Again, have a nice weekend! Comment (4) | Permalink |
