![]() Mall at Lexington Green, Lexington, Kentucky This was a shot through the tinted windows of the nearby hotel. The day was rainy, which added to the wintery-like effect. I like the lines of the roof and the steeples that reflect that this is horse country. The red neon sign gives a splash of color and interest. The bookstore, Joseph Beth, is the biggest independent bookstore that I've ever been in. We've bought books there since it started in one of the smaller areas of the mall and now it's expanded to include the whole of the mall common area. Downstairs, in the travel section, you'll find some interesting books on hotel photography. One book has shots from cheap hotels, another one from odd places. Very interesting pictures and led me to look out this window and see what the camera could find. Update: I modified the image with a slight crop.
