 Greenbo Lake State Resort Park During a recent hike, we located a small patch of Pawpaw trees that are becoming more and more scarce in our area. If you have never eaten the fruit of a pawpaw tree then the best way to describe it would be to think of an overripe banana. In fact, according to Wikipedia, it is sometimes referred to as a Kentucky banana.
