 Greenup County, Kentucky This war memorial is more of a roadside memorial park than just a monument. Because it backs up to a forested ridge, the nice warm evening sun is short lived and you have to catch it just right. After a hike at a local nature preserve last weekend the evening sun was touching the tops of the trees so I pulled up just in time to photograph the lines of the F-86 before the light fell below the trees.
