 This entry is an example of a few of the various b&w conversion processes The original version is above, which was post processed with dodging/burning with curves on separate selections. The B&W conversion are below. 
The above image was converted using the Channel Mixer set to monotone with the red channel at 100% and the others at 0% 
The above image was converted with the Gradient Map and the black/white preset. 
The above photo was converted with the 3rd party plugin BW Styler.. I used the following settings: Tri-X film, red filter, grade 3 paper, and daguerreotype tone. Comment (1) | Permalink |
