 Ashland, Kentucky We've had a number of stunning reddish-orange sunrises lately. The last one caused us to make a fast trip back out in order to try to catch a great "pipe" of light that seemed to radiate up from the horizon like a strong flashlight. We couldn't get to a good spot in time, though. Seems like there's only a half hour or less of good photography when you catch it just right. The colors in this picture are a combination of a very early red sunrise and a local plant that had billowed up some colored steam. Comment (5) | Permalink |
