![]() Keeneland Racetrack at Lexington, Kentucky during the fall meet. First, many thanks for the comments to yesterday's picture. Today's shot is a followup of the same crowd. I'm a fan of motion-blur, but I can't usually get it right. I believe this shot works, only if it's viewed in the right order- immediately following yesterday's picture. At least for me, motion blur only works on its own when my eyes see the main subject as being in focus- then the surrounding blur imparts the movement that makes the scene dynamic. I didn't achieve that here, so I've kept it hidden away until now. Here's a good example of what I mean, shot by Sam at [daily dose of imagery] skaters of new year's eve But then, you have other exceptions such as one I viewed today where the whole concept was a screen full of colors.
