Pendleton Art Center
Ashland, Kentucky

I did some I-phone photography at the Pendleton and thought this statue made a good subject, being sort of cantilevered out from the wall above the Winery studio.  I have this older legacy app called Format126 that I sometimes like to use- it gives a natural color photograph with a slight vignette and  simple border.  It's a shame the production was stopped.  After living with this shot for a few days, though, I decided it should be a black and white and so did a simple conversion in FastStone Imageview for the PC, usually not the best way but it seemed to fit.   Do you think this statue was meant to be mounted on a ship?
