Made another trip out to Carter Caves to see what damage the freeze had on the wildflowers and was surprised to find a few still stood the cold very well, maybe more will be coming out next week.  The above photograph was shot through the window of an empty Pendleton gallery, I thought the colors and pattern made up an interesting scene.  A studio like this would lease for a year and include all utilities as well as 24 hour access.  The studio itself actually differs slightly, I practiced "beauty" retouching on the walls and floor and practiced altering clarity and the luminosity & saturation of the individual color channels.

“Sometimes, immersed in his books, there would come to him
the awareness of all that he did not know, of all that he had not
read; and the serenity for which he labored was shattered as he
realized the little time he had in life to read so much, to learn
what he had to know.”
