For my first day off in a long time, I was happy to see some nice weather develop.  We headed out to Grayson Kentucky for a very nice Mexican lunch and then on to Carter Caves to hike off all those calories.  You know the saying, there's lots of undiscovered gems right in your own backyard.  Even though we frequent Carter Caves during every month of the year, we have failed to fully hike the whole loop of the 3.5 mile foot path called The 3 Bridges Trail. It didn't take long before I knew it was my favorite.  During the hike, we ran across Gerry from Explore Kentucky who was checking out the rock climbing area.    It was a very nice day.

You can find out more about Explore Kentucky from their webpage right here.
