Elsa Dorfman is retiring.  Now I understand she isn't a common household name or somebody we're used to hearing on the news, but she's is a portrait artist that uses 1 of only 5 large format Polaroid 20 x 24 inch cameras that were ever made.  That makes her unique.  That and being a 78 year old who has been shooting the camera for over 30 years.  The film has not been made for years and years, she reports that a friend bought up all the stock when Polaroid shut down the production and that half of it is gone.  And it is loosing it's vibrancy.  I have one last roll of Polaroid and it has lost all it's image making ability, nearly, so I understand.
