Carter Caves State Resort Park
Carter County, Kentucky

Here's another of the early shots from Carter Caves. Part of the learning curve for wildflower shooting for me is the problem with enough depth of field vs having a nice blurred background. I missed the dof a tad on this one but these neat wildflowers are gone already and so will know better next year.

My book says these flowers were used by the Native Americans as love charms. Says that the root was nibbled by a man and it was said his breath would attract a woman even against her will. Don't let the secret out.
