Here's a shot of a 1970ish car that I think I've posted a couple times before. When I turned 16, my family owned a car about this size. It felt for all the world like trying to parallel park a pontoon boat so I borrowed a candy-apple-red 1965 Mustang to take my drivers test. That was like parking your sneakers, the car nearly drove itself. I had in mind to write some about Cords and Auburns (the cars, not hair color and electronic equipment) as those are the forgotten car manufacturers for many people but that will have to wait until another day. A car like this one will needs a Stephen King quote, though- the reason is obvious.
“I think that we're all mentally ill. Those of us outside
the asylums only hide it a little better - and
maybe not all that much better after all.”
