A few of us had dinner after the Thursday meeting of the Ohio Valley Camera Club.  One of the members acquired a 40+ year old manual Canon lens, a 55mm F1.2.  He purchased a hand-made adapter and it works well on a 5D2.  With Live View in exposure simulation mode and manual focus, it makes for some fine hand held photography in very low light.  We had a good number of images entered, some really nice ones including one of the finest black and white images you'll find anywhere, shot by Tim Hardesty.

And we should consider every day lost on which
we have not danced at least once. And we should
call every truth false which was not accompanied
by at least one laugh.
