the former Greyhound Bus Station
Huntington, West Virginia

The old Greyhound Bus Station is now the hub for the citywide bus service. Most of these older art-deco buildings have been demolished so I was especially happy when we were given permission for the photowalk to photograph as much and as long as we wanted. When I noticed this scene, I loved how the light and shadows formed a natural vignette. The lockers are a nice color but the incoming light raises the tones in a way that I thought was really interesting. I have another photo of the lockers that I can put up tomorrow that will show the nice art-deco color that you can find in the building.
